ive finally returned home from my asian adventures >< i have some pretty snapshots of japan to post, so look forward to it ^_^
ohmans i really needa catch up on faving, returning comments, commenting work, submitting deviations, blah blah.....
but ill do all of that tomorrow, since im gonna take this time for a brief summary of what japan is like

*******************
i flew on JAL, and let me tell you, take this airline whenever you can. the attendants are so nice and always come right to you when you call for them. and the food is actually pretty decent ><
Day 1: i arrived in japan late afternoon, and took a bus with some of the group to hilton narita, which is north of tokyo. the building is c shaped and guess whose room was at the very end of the hall ;_; i explored a bit before dinner in the hotel and talked to a cute asian boy in the elevator :3 while exploring, i got lost and ended up in the middle of a party event x___x the ppl dressed nice were like freakkk..... remember im still looking all jet laggy. =_=
Day 2: TOKYO!!! breakfast was in narita still, and i talked again to said cute asian boy and his friend this time :3. but they were on the cantonese tour ( i was on the english one, lol ) our tour group took a shuttle bus to tokyo metropolis, and did you know the roads in japan are reversed? like you drive in the left lane, and the driver sits on the right of the car. the first place we visited was the imperial palace, but it wasnt too great since its closed for most of the year. it rained that morning too =_= but i got to buy a very kawaii fanta in a japanese vending machine, which is awesome. while on the way to asakusa, we passed akihabara, which isnt all that great by looks. but i saw a giant shugo chara! poster and got really excited, but i couldnt get out my camera fast enough ;_; asakusa has a buddhist shrine, which was pretty neat, but i liked the avenue of little souvenier shops better

you cant bargain in japan =__= next stop was meiji shrine, which is a shinto shrine. the tour guide yumi taught us how to pray shinto style. i also got to do a cleansing ritual which was cool. there was like something of a promotion ceremony going on there too but the policemen were like no taping!
the best part of tokyo was after we checked into our hotel in shinjuku. the tokyo metropolis building is right behind it and we rode to the 45th floor and got to see tokyo from a birds eye view. its really very pretty *_* the rest of the day was free time but we followed the optional tour to see shinjuku station, which is superbusy, and just walk around the city. omg the people there dress so well. my dad wanted to have dinner at a pufferfish restaurant; apparently they did a good job with cutting off the poison bits because im still here, haha. it actually didnt have much of a taste :c that night, i went shopping in harajuku! i took the yamamote line in shinjuku station (for those who read/watch death note, the one where light killed ray penbar c:<

and i almost got crushed between teh doors ;_;
Day 3: Kamakura; we went out of the city and into a smaller town. its wasnt really much but i tried yam ice cream :3 and we walked thru yet another shrine, but they were preparing for a festival, so colorful banners everywhere! next, we took a looong ride to see the great buddha statue. the funny thing is, he has two windows in his back XD. i went inside too, but it was very dark and cramped ;_; then another long ride to odowara castle, but this one was worth it. there was only a museum inside, but the castle itself was very pretty

theres like a maze to get in...a lot of walking. the best part of the day came when we checked into our hot spring resort!! its like right by the seaside,so pretty *___*
yeah, you have to go in naked....
dinner was in traditional yukata, and i actually went up and sang karaoke. oh gawd XD
Day 4: i got up like at 4 to see the sun rise =__= i was so beat from the night before, but i dragged myself cause they dont call it land of the rising sun for no reason! that day was spent at hakone national park. mt fuji can be seen there, except i couldnt because it was so darned misty that day!! we rode a cable car up the mountain and went to see the sulfur vents. gawd it smelled awful. i tried black hard boiled egg...which is supposed to make you live 7 yrs longer. oh joy! and wasabi ice cream x___x
we returned to tokyo, and went to see the panasonic center. soo high tech... haha i was playing with the ds's they had there, but them games were all in japanese D: when i walked outta there i got reallly excited though, because i say tokyo big sight in the distance!!

its the place they hold COMIKET, the first and original convention in japan!! i wish to go there someday while the convention is going on

yeah so that pretty much wraps it up. sorry it took like a week to type this up x___x and many of you prolly wont bother reading....
